La Licata began its activity as a pastry shop in 1967, one of the best and most renowned in the historic center of Rome, in the Monti district, the first and oldest Roman district, also known as
“La Suburra”.
Nel 1982 l’attività viene ampliata con l’apertura del Bar La Licata oggi condotto dai fratelli Luigi e Paola, due monticiani DOC nati e cresciuti nel Rione Monti.
Il Bar è stato rinnovato nel suo look e, grazie all'acquisizione di ulteriori locali, è stato ampliato con l’aggiunta di una cucina per la preparazione diretta di pasticceria cibi e pietanze.
A due passi dal Foro Romano e dal Colosseo oggi il Bar La Licata è la perfetta location per le vostre colazioni (italiana, americana e vegan) per i vostri pranzi e per i vostri aperitivi.
The Bar also carries out a home delivery service for all the delicacies that are prepared daily by the internal kitchen.
Epicenter of Rione life, from the early hours of dawn we start the day with our now renowned breakfasts.
Before main meals, the Bar is a reference point for an excellent Roman aperitif, with a vast choice of cocktails accompanied by appetizers and mixed platters.

The Bar La Licata places the satisfaction of its customers at the center of its attention, focusing its objective on the constant improvement of the service and the quality of the products offered.
AMBIENTE
The Bar has implemented a management policy aimed at combating environmental pollution: we do not own motor vehicles, we use Car Sharing vehicles, deliveries by bicycle and/or on foot, we carry out separate collection as well as the differentiation of the oil used for cooking and storing food; we have eliminated the use of plastic bottles, we only supply tap water. We try to use only high quality food quality raw materials, 0 km products and organic products that do not affect the environment
